Yanagisawa Sopranino Sax SN981

The Yanagisawa Sopranino comes with Yanagisawa’s ebonite 5 mouthpiece (.043″ tip opening). We find that for many players, the optimum mouthpiece for the Yanagisawa Sopranino is actually the Yanagisawa 7 Metal Sopranino mouthpiece (.050″ tip). It’s slightly larger tip opening, increased rollover baffle & square tone chamber provides great tonal clarity, response and control throughout the range of the instrument.

What about reeds?
Sopranino saxes doe use a separate reed, but for many people, finding sopranino reeds is not easy and the selection is limited. Some players will opt to use a Bb clarinet reed and simply trim off some of the back of the blank. On the Yanagisawa Sopranino metal mouthpiece, you can actually use full size Bb Soprano sax reeds.

What is a “Store Used Demo”?
