Vandoren V16 Soprano Sax Reeds
Vandoren V16 Soprano Sax Reeds were launched in 1993 to answer the demand of the American jazz musicians who wanted a richer tone than the Java while maintaining the responsiveness that the Java models offered (a JAVA with even more wood). Compared to the Java, the Vandoren V16 soprano sax reeds have a thicker heart to the cane (but not as thick as the Traditional models). The V16 maintains the thicker tip than the Traditional Vandoren reeds as well as a longer palette.
The sound gives brilliance while maintaining a strong attack with a deep, rich sound.
The Vandoren V16 soprano sax reeds are the best selling cane reed with our local Las Vegas professional jazz players!
Vandoren V16 Soprano Sax reeds are made in Bormes les Mimosas (Var), France in their facility closest to the Vandoren cane fields. French cane, French design, French sound.
