About this Used Selmer Series III Soprano Sax – Serial 675,124
Finding a great condition used pro sax is always such a treat. This horn has been sitting, unused for much of it’s life! The previous owner kept in excellent overall condition. Serial number is 675,124 placing it in the mid 2000’s (estimated 2006) for production. We have completely gone through and adjusted the horn in our ProShop to guarantee that it is in excellent working order.

There is a little acid bleed in the lacquer in a few small spots, but noting glaring. There was also at one point a small bend to the bell rim (body has never been bent) bit it was repaired well, though a small crease spot in the lacquer exists in the bell rim from the inside of the bell (see the photo).

The horn was a model 53NG – Series III Soprano, Lacquered Finish, No Engraving. No mouthpiece is included, just the sax, both stocks necks, end plug and original case.

Upgrade the Case
The original woodshell case is included. These cases are solid, but a bit bulky. Selmer eventually switched to a better case, both in terms of protection and usability (portability and storage), with a custom made BAM case. This same case is available as the BAM Signature Series soprano case. If you want to upgrade the protection of your horn, we will let you add on the BAM Signature Series case and receive an additional 20% discount when it ships with this used Series III Soprano Sax. You would still receive the stock case as well if you upgrade, but we would ship the sax in the BAM case as it is the best protection available on the market for a Selmer Series III Soprano.
