The GAIA soprano tends towards a traditional Jazz taste, but is quite versatile. The GAIA soprano has a medium roll-over baffle, precision-sculpted inner sidewalls, and our True Large Chamber for a simply huge and alive vintage sound.
Theo uses the highest quality, most resonant, hard rubber available today in saxophone mouthpieces. By optimizing manufacturing techniques and recipes for hard rubber manufactured in the 1940s and 50s by the Meyer Bros., Otto Link, and Henry Chedeville, the rich resonant sound previously only available in vintage mouthpieces is BACK. There has never been a better hard rubber mouthpiece made….EVER!

For decades musician’s asked Theo to custom make their perfect soprano mouthpiece. He modified vintage Buescher and Slant Otto Link (among other) vintage mouthpieces. But these models did not have the correct interior geometry to make the perfect design that his customers desired. It was for this reason Theo designed the GAIA. The feedback has been an overwhelming relief from many players to finally get a mouthpiece that gave them the sound they always desired, but could never quite find.
Now in the 4th Generation design, GAIA 4 Soprano is the best yet!
