Solist Low A Bari Sax
Our Solist brand of instruments are built exclusively for us with value in mind. We realize that when shopping for a Low A Bari sax, many parents and players do not want to or simply cannot afford to go spend $5,000+ on a upper instrument. Sadly, this has also opened up the market for many inferior quality instruments to be sold on auction sites, in swap meets and other stores that are simply looking for the lowest cost instrument that can be sold.
This is simply unacceptable for any player. We all NEED a good quality instrument in order to grow and progress and enjoy playing music. Inferior instruments detract from this and make it difficult for anyone to progress and grow in our playing ability.
Our Solist Low A Bari Sax is the answer to this dilemma.

Professional Setup
Every horn we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is because the setup on the horn is of the utmost importance! Sometimes, a saxophone (regardless of who the manufacturer or the price point is) comes in needing 20 minutes of adjustments and then the very next one can require 2 hours! So if you were to get 5 of the same model right out of the box, they will all play different which leads people to believe that they are “good” or “bad” saxes… but the reality is that the one that was the best out of the 5 was likely the one that needed the least amount of work and on the flip side, the “bad” sax was the one that needed 2 hours worth of adjustments!
Once the same 5 saxophones are properly regulated and adjusted to perfection, they become near identical saxophones that even the pickiest of players would be challenged to pick a true “favorite” horn. However, since most stores do not or even can not perform this setup, the player never knows this and is simply relying on the luck of the draw. This is why we perform our setup (in our www.SaxophoneRepairs.com ProShop) on them before delivering your new sax to you. You trust us with your purchase and we want to make sure that you are rewarded by giving you your ideal saxophone setup flawlessly!

I bought this bari after searching around for a decent sax at a reasonable price. Normally I would never buy a horn without trying it. I have played brand new horns ay music stores that were not adjusted properly. I found a lot of cheap Chinese saxophones on line. I looked at used horns on different sites and checked out some local music stores. I am a 65 and retired. I play bass mainly but I also play saxophone although I have not played one in years. I have always wanted a bari sax. I played one in Jr High and High school. During my search I stumbled upon Kessler and Sons. They had a bari at a very reasonable price. The thing that got me was the Kessler Advantage. I figured if they are bold enough to assure you that the sax will play great right out of the box, I had to find out. The price is right (although as of writing this the price did go down a couple of hundred bucks due to Black Friday, that’s cool , like in music timing is everything) The horn played great. I couldn’t be happier. The Kessler Advantage is real and they can back it up. I got the Rico B7 mouth piece with a strap and a half decent case. This is exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend doing business with Kessler and Sons. I am sure this isn’t the last sax I buy from them.

Love this horn. Plays easily and in tune throughout the entire range of the horn!!!…seriously. I have absolutely no regrets. I considered ordering a cheap bari off of ebay but I’m so glad I didn’t. Out of the 4 saxophones I own, this is the only one I didn’t have to take to my local tech to start using. This is the first bari I’ve ever played and thought it would be more difficult to play but I can hit the low A and high F# on this horn with absolutely no problem. Also, their customer service is top notch. Dave Kessler even replied to my email on Christmas Day! My problem now is I have to look into selling my other horns so I can replace them with the other Kessler models.
