Selmer Paris Axos Tenor Sax
Affordable Professional Performance
To respond to the ever-changing needs of musicians, Henri Selmer Paris has created the new Axos line of saxophones. The Selmer Paris Axos Tenor Sax combines the acoustic design of the Series II with the lighter construction and neck angle of the Series III for a rich & responsive instrument. This new design is combined with new manufacturing techniques designed to help lower the cost while maintaining the acoustic soul and quality of performance that players want. This combination enables the Selmer Paris Axos Tenor Sax to give players a top tier sax on a more affordable budget.
The new Axos Tenor Sax is one of the most impressive new tenors in the past decade! Offering players a horn that they can play & rely on without having to sacrifice anything, especially their budget!

Professional Setup in our Official Selmer Paris ProShop
Every Selmer Paris Axos Tenor Sax we send out to a customer is not released from us unless it has been completely setup in our shop first. This is because the setup on the horn is of the utmost importance! Sometimes, a saxophone (regardless of who the manufacturer or the price point is) comes in needing 20 minutes of adjustments and then the very next one can require 2 hours! This leads people to believe that they are “good” or “bad” saxes. The reality is quite different. When you play a sax that needs 2 hours of work, of course it won’t play as well as it should!!
Once the same 5 saxophones are properly regulated and adjusted to perfection, they become near identical saxophones that even the pickiest of players would be challenged to pick a true “favorite” horn. However, since most stores do not or even can not perform this setup, the player never knows this and is simply relying on the luck of the draw.
This is why we perform a complete professional setup in our Official Selmer Paris ProShop before delivering your new sax to you. You trust us with your purchase and we want to make sure that you are rewarded by giving you your ideal saxophone setup flawlessly!

To begin, I want to give a very special “Thank you” to Dave for guiding and helping me to look over various tenor saxophones. This choice was the best one for me. Now it has been well over 30 years since I last played the alto saxophone, but the purchase of the Axos Tenor was one I have always want to play. Even when I was playing the alto sax the shear desire for the tenor sax always loomed over me. SO, now that I have one I have found a bright spot in my life. Granted I don’t practice as much as I would like too….but slowly getting back to a good rhythm. I honest don’t have anything to compare the Axos to, but I can’t say it is fairly simple to play and learn. While I am using online saxophone lessons from Nigel McGill, which is great by the way, I am having fun with the Axos and slowly getting to know her. Overall, I find everything about the Axos perfect, and I recommend this beautiful instrument to all levels of experience….good luck!
