As a company, we always fight to provide the customer with the best value. In the string market, this fight sometimes seems an uphill battle as the industry tends to be stacked against the consumer. This has led us to develop our own line of performance series orchestral stringed instruments under the name “LaChambre”. Named in honor of a long since retired technician in our shop, these instruments offer unparalleled value. Our new 250 Series violins have become the best selling student violin in our store due to their exceptional performance and value.

250 Series Violin – Standard Model
The LaChambre 250 Series violins offer premium quality, aged tonewoods. The instrument is fully carved and expertly setup to perform beyond players’ expectations. The Standard Model LaChambre 250 uses a standard student great bridge that is expertly fit and setup for your violin. It is then strung with D’Addario Helicore strings for a great blend of tone, response and longevity. The case is a lightweight, foam-shell case. Standard fiberglass student bow is included.

250 Deluxe Model
The 250 is also available in our “Deluxe” configuration that has several key upgrades. While these upgrades can be done later in the violin’s life, it saves a bit of money to purchase the instrument already setup with the upgrades as you benefit in the “upgrade” of the stock equipment when we set the violin up. The 250 Deluxe model uses an upgraded bridge, strings, case & bow. The Deluxe models also feature our premium selection of 250 models (based on aesthetics).

Desert Aged
Being based in the desert of Las Vegas, we have a very unique ability to let instruments “age”. As string instruments age and the wood dries, the instrument will improve over that time. However, as these instruments dry in our desert climate of Las Vegas, this process of aging occurs much faster than most areas of the country.

This aging gives you an instrument that is more vibrant, responsive and more stable as a result of this aging!

We do make sure to monitor our instruments and make any necessary adjustments that are needed as a result of this process prior to shipping to you.

In Home Trial
Kessler & Sons Music offers a 3 day trial / return policy on the LaChambre 250 Series Student Violin. There are no cleaning fees or restocking fees (assuming that the item is returned in proper condition). We know that you need to be able to test the instrument to make sure that it is the right instrument for you. We carefully package the instrument so that it arrives safely to you.

Please note that when we ship the instrument, we wrap the bridge and the tailpiece in tissue paper so that IF the bridge were to fall down in shipping, no damage occurs to the instrument. We do not ship the violin with strings under full tension but there is enough tension to keep everything in place while in transit. If you do decide to return the violin, please make sure to follow the same guidelines so that the instrument is returned in the same condition it was sent out.
