Bach Commercial LT190S Silver Stradivarius Trumpets
Designed to meet the needs of the modern trumpet player, the new Bach Commercial LT190S trumpets are turning player’s heads! Launched in 2014, the Commercial LT190S is based on the new Bach 190 platform which features the vintage style 2 piece valve casings. In the Commercial LT190S mdoels, the upper baluster is made from bronze to pair with the #1B bell on the Commercial LT190S. The horn is designed for unbelievably quick response and attack, but while maintaing a richer, thicker core thanks the the added mass of the bronze alloy.

Bach Commercial Model Features
The Bach Commercial LT190S is based around the concept of quick response & immediate attack while maintaining tonal depth and richness. This achieved by pairing the following design features:
- #1B Lightweight Bronze 5″ Bell – Bach’s very first bell design, made out of Bronze for great warmth!
- 190 Series 2 Piece Casings – With Bronze upper balusters to give a richer core to the tone and balance the horn’s response
- 2 Bore Options – Available in either a .459″ ML or .462″ L Bore
- Ultra Lightweight Construction – This is Bach’s lightest weight design giving incredibly quick response
- 2 Main Tuning Slides – Both a traditional squared & rounded “D” slide are included for further customization
Bach 180 Series vs. 190 Series
The Bach Commercial LT190S trumpets are built on the new 190 Stradivarius platform. At it’s core, the 190 platform simply refers to the horn’s valve casings.
- Bach 180 Series: Standard 1 Piece Valve Casings made from brass
- Bach 190 Series: 2 Piece Valve Casings with Nickel-Silver or Bronze Upper Balusters

Bach Commercial LT190S Screening Process
Bach Commercial LT190S trumpets are made by hand. Even with the improved manufacturing techniques that Bach returned to, this inevitably will create some variance. So with every Bach Commercial LT190S that comes in our shop, Dave Kessler personally inspects every single one. He checks for structural defects, cosmetic defects and assembly defects. The vibration of the instrument to ensure that the trumpet is a responsive horn. If a Bach Commercial LT190S is assembled poorly, this results in unnecessary stress in the solder joints that actually hinder vibration and in turn, negatively affects the performance of the Bach Commercial trumpet. The most important test of the trumpet for Dave is the vibration test. If a horn doesn’t vibrate well itself (outside of even playing the horn), then it will not be a great playing trumpet.
If a Bach Commercial LT190S fails ANY of our tests is sent back to Bach, period.
