Teacher Bio
Lisa Schroeder earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Iowa, which she attended under a full tuition fellowship. Schroeder held a teaching position at U of I in addition to holding professor of flute and instructor positions at several other universities. Dr. Schroeder has been a judge for CCSD honor band, Las Vegas Flute Club Young Artist Competition and National Flute Association competitions. She has given clinics at the NAMM show, been an invited guest artist at the World Flutes Festival in Argentina and the Flute World Festival in Tokyo, performed at MGM Grand, is a substitute member with both the Henderson Symphony and Las Vegas Philharmonic and has taught master classes at the Las Vegas Academy and UNLV. Dr. Schroeder offers instruction on flute, piccolo, alto and bass flute.
