Nevada COVID-19 Phase 1 Update – Opening Back Up Saturday May 9th!

home4nevada

On May 7th, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced Nevada’s Phase 1 plans and date. In this first phase, businesses like ours will finally be able to re-open to the public. There are of course limitations in place on this and we wanted to make sure that our customers know what to expect.

Re-Opening on Saturday May 9th!

Phase 1 Starts Saturday May 9th & we will be open!! In accordance with the state’s re-opening plan, Nevada is entering Phase 1 on Saturday May 9th. This means that businesses are allowed to open to the public again. There are some requirements that the state has issued to coincide with this re-opening that we will be following. These include:

    • All retail staff must wear face masks
    • Retail customers are encouraged to wear masks, but will not be required

Curbside Ordering Continues!

For our local customers, we will continue to offer curbside service through at least Phase 1. We realize that there will still be customers who do not feel comfortable walking in to stores right now, so we will still continue to offer our Curbside Services for the immediate future. We can also still ship items to customers if they like.

Simply visit our Curbside Order page and choose the store location you wanted to pickup from for their curbside ordering form. Full details and online forms can be found on our site here:

What Services Will We Offer?

In Phase 1, we will offer MOST of our services. This includes full retail & repair operations as well as rentals. However, there will be some services that will continue to stay limited or shut down during Phase 1. This includes:

    • Private Lessons will remain suspended through at least Phase 1. Many of our teachers are offering remote lessons via Zoom, Skype, Facetime, etc… and will continue to do so during Phase 1.
    • Short Term Rentals will not be offered.

Repairs

Incoming repairs will receive a 3 day quarantine in our store before they are evaluated by our technicians. We recommend customers pre-arrange the repair through our curbside services so that we have all of your information before receiving the instrument.

Hours of Operation

Through Phase 1, we will continue with our shortened schedule of Mon-Sat 9:30-4:00. As the state progresses to the additional phases of the re-opening plans, we will eventually return to our normal business hours. We anticipate this by the end of May.

Final Thoughts

We will continue to adapt our policies as the state moves through the re-opening phases. As that happens, we will continue to post these updates for our customers here on the blog. The easiest way to find the most recent update is by going to www.kesslerandsons.com/covid/ as this will automatically forward you to the most recent update. We are looking forward to seeing and helping you in the near future!!
