Our local Back to School season for 2019 runs from Monday August 12th – Saturday September 7th. During this time of year, there are a few things that are of note for our customers both locally and across the country.

During this time of year, we have extended hours for your back to school needs. However, these extended hours are relative to the specific location. Please check the extended hour information for the store that is closest to you. These locations are:

Out of State Customer Info

During this time of year, we do need to focus our attention a bit more towards our local market due to the sheer volume of customers we service in our city. How does this impact you?

Can I come in and test instruments?
At certain times yes, at others no. During this season, our store can become too busy for us to allow the space and personal time required to accommodate in store instrument testing. This is especially true for all Saturdays during this season and any week day after about 2pm. If you are going to be in town and want to test out instruments, please email Dave Kessler at music@kesslermusic.com to discuss timing of this so that we can do our best to accommodate your needs and our local customer’s needs.

Peak Hour Contact
During our peak hours, usually in the afternoons and all day on the weekends, if we become too busy in store we may redirect our Toll Free phone number straight to voicemail so that our employees can properly assist the people in our stores and local phone calls.

If you are an out of state customer and are getting the voicemail, please do not call our local store numbers as we have to keep those lines open for our local customer needs. Either leave a message on the toll free number, send us an email with questions, or give us a call back during the times that kids are in school (as we are not as slammed at that time). We realize that this is an inconvenience and greatly appreciate your cooperation.

Order Processing
We normally process and ship on-line orders within 1 business day of the order. We do our best to maintain this during our back to school season. However, sometimes this can take a day or two more depending on how busy we are. If you have any questions about the status of your order, please email Dave Kessler.
